This amazing aluminium table comes from a Dutch designer Pascal Smelik. It’s casted from hot wax poured into cold water. He uses a large syringe to squirt hot candle wax into cold water, then drains the water and fills it with plaster. Resulting mould is used to cast the aluminium.
