Julian Mayor is an artist and designer whose work can be found in Europe’s more conceptual design galleries. On graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2000 he worked in California for IDEO design. He returned to London in 2002 to work for Pentagram, whilst exhibiting his own work. He currently teaches 3-D environments at the London College of Communication, exploring computers and sculptural form.
“Julian’s designs are derived by working across many mediums including animation, video and metal work which visibly combine to drive his design process. You get a real sense of experimentation from his work. Not all can be described as finished, but they leave you wanting to see the next instalment.”
